- Personal Account Details: Name, phone number, email address, and profile credentials created during registration.
- Delivery & Address Data: Saved delivery addresses, pin codes, and contact details for order fulfillment.
- Location Data: Precise or approximate device location to detect nearby local stores, calculate delivery distances, and show relevant local catalog offerings.
- Payment Information: Transaction details and order histories. Note: Payment card/UPI credentials are directly processed by PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways; we do not store full credit card details or UPI PINs on our servers.
- Device & Diagnostics: Device model, OS version, IP address, and app activity logs used for app performance and troubleshooting.
- Media & Camera (Optional): Camera or gallery permissions if you choose to upload profile images, scan QR codes, or attach photos for support inquiries/reviews.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information specifically to:
- Process, fulfill, and deliver your orders from local vendor stores.
- Send real-time order status notifications, delivery updates, and customer support alerts.
- Enable seamless payment processing and issue refunds when applicable.
- Personalize your shopping experience by surfacing products and offers from nearby stores.

- Vendors & Delivery Partners: Necessary order details (customer name, delivery address, phone number, purchased items) are shared with the merchant fulfilling your order and the assigned delivery partner.
- Payment Gateways: Securely shared with RBI-authorized payment processors to handle checkout transactions.
- Infrastructure Providers: Cloud hosting, SMS notification, and push-notification vendors bound by non-disclosure agreements.
- Legal Requirements: Disclosed if mandated by applicable law enforcement agencies or judicial orders.
4. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfill legal obligations and dispute resolutions.
You have full control over your data. You may request account deletion at any time by:
- Using the Delete Account option inside the LocalZE app under Account / Profile Settings, or
- Emailing your account deletion request to support@yourdomain.com.
Upon account deletion, your personal details will be permanently anonymized or removed, except for past invoice records maintained for legal and tax compliance.

We employ commercial-grade security practices, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit and restricted server access protocols, to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration.
